SIX armed men riddled a suspected drug pusher with bullets inside a bar near Divisoria at dawn yesterday.
Chief Insp. Henry Cay-as, Divisoria police chief, said the armed group killed 32-year old Jonathan Elasco of 502 Burgos Macahambus along Rizal Street at around 3:10 am.
Elasco was shot to the head, chest and other body parts. He died at the Polymedic Hospital at around 11 am.
Cay-as said Elasco, who was suspected to be dealing drugs, was with a male and a female companion at Lynmon Jhan Video K Bar when six armed men barged in and fired shots at the victim.
Investigators found six empty shells from caliber .45 pistols at the crime scene.
Cay-as said the killers fled on three motorcycles without license plates.
Cay-as said investigators suspected the killing was related to drugs.
He said the victim was suspected to be getting drug supplies from Barra, Opol in Misamis Oriental.
